A VONA/Voices and Tin House alum, Ani Cooney is the winner of a PEN America / Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize. He has been published in The Georgia Review, Epiphany Magazine, Best Debut Short Stories and elsewhere. His work has been supported by One Story Magazine’s Adina Talve-Goodman Fellowship, Joyland Magazine’s Open Border Fiction Prize (’21), and Adroit Journal’s Anthony Veasna So Scholarship in Fiction (’23).
